The non-points autocross will be held on Sunday, November 14 at Danville.

Registration is open with the passcode SEP23.

We will need volunteers to drive the bus and serve as event chair.

Thanks.

UPDATE: Due to issues w/ the bus, we've had to cancel this event.

James Short and I had volunteered for this one months ago (Liz did, too, but she's going to Australia now). Let me know if we're still in.

Is it basically the same, but not count for THSCC points? Or is it more like a practice day without cone calls etc.?

Kevin and I aren't going to use cones other than pivots, so no worries on the cone call part :).

Two worker stations ~ 5 minute shifts each. That works for me.

After the Nov 7th RX, please, at least get the bus back to Chris's house. That should be ground Zero. We won't be able to go all the way to Kevin's to pick it up. Thanx

That sounds good to me. Thanks for volunteering.

It will be run like a normal autocross except there will be no dash plaques, trophies or points awarded.

Now all we need is drivers.

Nope.

In Keith's case there are carts to race against. :beerbuds:

Thanks for the response Matt. There will be two other karts so a minimum of three drivers but probably four drivers.

Personally, I'll go to a THSCC Danville event over a Triad event, but I would go to both if they're on different days! Seat time = good, especially at the end of the season...

After the season ends, I'll start twitching uncontrollably, muttering to myself in the corner: "must...autocross...now...I'm...going...crazy..."

I need all the autocross I can get!
