I talked to Chris Lin on facebook and he MIGHT be coming down in an STR MR2 spyder. We just have to convince him what club to run for. . .

STR is sounding like it might be turning into one heck of a good class at this event.

So considering we are hosting it, what is the plan for determining the winner? While PAX is fine, class participation should factor in too. - AB

Shoot me if it was a secret, but OCT15 is the code. I can't imagine why we even set one up for this event.

I don't know why we have one at all anymore....

I'll be there. I just need to figure out what class to run: DS, DSP, or SM.

I also need to figure out how to drive the car fast.

Does Sanford still have a LOT of gravel that gets stuck to slicks either on course or in the grid area? The last time I ran slicks there it was impossible to get all the stones off the tires between runs. Plus lots of the relatively sharp stones ended up UNDER the rubber fuel cell.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, it still has a good bit. I'm sure we could find you a co-drive though if you can make it and don't feel comfortable driving the Van Dieman.

Wish I could be there, but with the date change, I can't. We will be in Orlando hanging with a certrain 4 foot tall mouse. Same story with Erin also. So the extended Breakey family won't be able to help in STS this year.

I might be interested if James Milko lets me codrive his car. I'm trash in my soft as hell Miata.

I'm pumped although I don't know how the GS turnout will be, but it'll be fun either way.

At this point, neutral to understeer would suit my abilities better than anything else.

Scott, did you get rid of the Celica?

Is it worth coming out for just one day?

I'm headed to visit Mickey Rat on the third, but can make the Saturday event.

Stephen,

Thanks for the info and the suggestion. However my hope was that Sanford had "matured" into a good site for my car since I intend to get much more active in it and a THSCC site would be a good thing for maximizing seat time. Plus L'burg is long past being formula car friendly. I assume Danville is still good.

This one's in my new backyard. Debbie and I will definitely be there in CSP.

The passcode is off, and the entry limit bumped to 200.

Someone posted earlier that you have to participate both days to have your results count towards club win and our points days is Sunday.

Ooo! I might have a chance at 1st place points for an event. :redcool:
