Wow, STR is shaping up nicely with some good talent. Should be fun to watch.

Is there an official THSCC hotel?

yes.....

The Hampton Inn in Sanford is now our hosting hotel. Contact number is 919-775-2000. Let them know you are with the NCAC to get the special rate. Link is....

http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/hote ... cn=SNFNCHX

I just called to inquire about rooms. Ask for the "Autocross" rate, not the NCAC rate...they didn't know what that was.

Also, their Advanced Purchase - No Refunds rate online is currently cheaper.

I dawdled and finally got around to booking my room this morning. The Hampton is sold out, so I got a room at the Comfort Inn Suites nearby. If you want to split the room with me Sat night, PM me. Your half will be $50.

If you plan to attend the NCAC please pre-register as early as possible. We are providing pizza for lunch both days and need a good count of drivers in advance.

To clarify a few items:
To compete for the NCAC, you must be signed up for both days. Sunday will be our be our THSCC points event.

We will run different courses on Saturday and Sunday.

Passengers will not be allowed on course either day.

Make sure that your car is classed properly.

We look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks.

Did anyone find a yellow Top Peak (I think) bicycle pump off into the grass in the grid?

I saw a yellow pump lying down and stood it up on the taxiway so someone would notice it.

did anyone mistakenly pick up an aircompressor in carrying case? I laid it by the cones in grid and when we went back to get it is was gone.

What a great event. This was my first NCAC and it was as smooth if not smoother than a normal event!!!!

Nothing was laying around after everybody left. Well maybe some trash and butts that we picked up, but nothing like that.

Great course guys. I loved the somewhat faster than normal elements, it made Sanford much more appealing than usual. I'm keeping these course maps for future reference.

I was out there on Saturday taking pictures, and managed to get shots of around 4/5 of competitors. (With so many cars and no breaks in-between, I couldn't get everyone, especially those on my group.)

I noted it when I walked back for the raffle, but not afterwards when we cleaned up. It was not there when I drove the bus off of the site.
