Okay, Charlie your in, I just placed the order. I ordered and extra bottle in case anyone else wants to get in on the action. I'll bring this stuff to the meeting next week assuming I get it in time, for those that ordered and can make the meeting you can pick it up then, bring cash. Shipping was basically $0.50/bottle but I won't quibble about that, as the group buy saved me some on shipping so an even $15 per bottle is fine I'll eat the rest. I'll make James buy me a beer though. ;-)

Les,
I'll take that extra bottle if it is still available.

Got the stuff yesterday, unfortunately the weather doesn't really appear to be cooperating with my trying it out today. I'll be bringing it to the meeting Wednesday.

Anyone use this stuff yet? Seems pretty braindead easy to use, I guess I'll have to back the car out into the sun to see how good it looks.

funny this comes up now...just did my wife's 2005 Odyssey yesterday, after a wash and claybar. Looks great. Someone asked her today when she got the new van, so I guess it works pretty well! I'm not a pro, but I couldn't tell much difference between it and Griot's--maybe the difference is in durability? I applied some to the wheels as well, as I noticed on the WRX that it makes cleaning off brake dust that much easier.

Which griots product are you comparing it to?

I haven't used that particular Griot's product, but have read really good things about it. In my opinion, AJT is a standout because it has an excellent combo of great looks, great durability, and unrivaled ease of use.

 Please don't misunderstand. I am, by far, not saying the product isn't good--just that I'm not experienced enough with other products to provide a good comparison. With that said, "wipe on and forget it" is as easy as it gets. Do NOT apply in hot weather as it leaves an unsightly sheen that requires a second coat (that goes for all waxes, from what I understand). I mis-timed applying it to my wife's hood (midnight Blue Pearl) and had to re-apply later in the evening when the hood cooled off.

I applied mine in the garage last night. Honestly, could hardly tell a difference in the terrible light in the garage with the door closed. But damn, as I pulled out of the garage this morning and got out to look at it in the sun, it looked GOOD!
