Need a volunteer to drive the bus. It's currently at my house, will be going to the rallyx on Saturday, and then it's up to whoever as to where it goes. From wherever that is, it will be going to Danville on the 24th, and somewhere other than Danville on the 25th. Make your offers.

And who wants to work the gate? As far as I remember, it's two people for about an hour each, starting around 730AM, and you're done working afterward. (Feel free to correct that.)

I can take on of the gate assinments if they are not already taken. Just tell me which one I am working and who I need to talk with when I get there.

Okay, that's one down. Who's next?

If it doesn't matter to you which shift you take, go ahead and take the first one. You can come see one of the event chairs (me, James Short, Liz Cordara) or you can just find the box with the waivers and wristbands in it and take it with you to the entrance road, if we're not available. Gate opens at 730AM, so that's when you'll need to be there ready to work.

Thanks!

dang! got on too late for the gate spot! Any other a.m. assignments needed? I'd be glad to take them so I can get a head start on the long drive back to Wilmington :P

I bet a Westerfield wouldn't mind help with tech particularly if there are 100+ entrants and it's 85-90degF at 8am :).

The gate workers are already assigned. They are Maureen Monroe and Neil Harrington. The worker coordinators set that up at the beginning of the season. Sorry you were not aware of that situation.
Thanks,
Don

Oh, okay. Well, we just need a bus driver, then. Any of you guys who volunteered for the easy job want one that's a little tougher? :D

OK, we need a bus driver ASAP so we can get a room. I just got one of the last rooms at the Sleep Inn, there seems to be an event at VIR on the 24-25th. We need to get the bus driver a room as soon as possible.

We need a volunteer PLEASE!
