Things I learned in Greenville:

1. Wanting to be a redneck, and actually being a redneck are two very different things. Cline, give up the dream!
2. If I blink Judi will start winning HS on a regular basis. She actually had the fastest HS raw time yesterday. I paid a cone to fall over.
3. Changing tires when it's 100 degrees is way past sofa king STUPID!
4. I have a love/hate relationship with Greenville.
5. Remchak is funny even when he's sober. You were sober yesterday, right?
6. Hospital personal find it difficult to believe that a woman *of a certain age*, ie, mine, has no medical history. What can I say, I'm a young white woman trapped in middle age (yeah, you read it right!) body.
7. And last, I actually learned this today-If I stay home all day and do absolutely nothing, I spend way too much time on line.

Bye

Damn, I meant to meet the village/club smartass but I didn't get a chance. I think he was in one of the fast white/orange e36s :).

We are all glad your doing fine Gwen. Lots of worried people in the paddock, I swear I saw even the non-regulars reaching left and right for water after the ambulance showed up.

I am all for the cool mist tent fwiw

Sean, please take no offense that I wasn't specifically referring to you as a smart ass....I'm sure you are purely via association and I would like to meet you as well ;). Anyway, you always were the helpful one in my e36 LSD thread and Steve was always saying 'throw a 6.57:1 final drive in that diff' :).

BTW:

9. No need to waste your first run to warm the tires up if the asphalt is already 150 degF.

10. Don't remind your competition to turn off traction/stability control or they might shave 3s off their previous run :).

ouch. thanks for the reminder  yeah, giving "the competition" that piece of advice was somewhat self-defeating. But it's no fun winning if you don't bring your best game, right?

BTW, I fully expect reciprocity if that happens to me....

Let's see, a big strip of masking tape that says "Turn VDC off!!!!" didn't help me remember so I don't know what the next step is. We might have to make a pact to just remind each other when we get to the grid :).

I'm all for running Greenville in April or October and never during the summer.
