Y'all are going to have to excuse Gwen for her uncommon outburst, as Jim Feinberg says she's normally the "closer". But she's been mowing grass today and the extreme heat lowers her tolerance for stup..... oh never mind. But she's right on the money. Why would you not pay 20$ for fear something "might come up", but risk and equal amount in the cost of gas to get to the event and lose the 2 hours of driving each way and ruin your day??????

You would think the registarsare a couple of witches or something. If you do prepay and the spice girls announce a suprise concert we are willing to negotiate( moving to next event, etc)You can still prereg(which makes it alot easier for everyoneinline)and not prepay if you are really into the spice girls. See everyone on Sunday!

Preregistration is kind of like a donation to Jerry's kids if you don't make the event. It's a good cause and a good group of people.

Had a good time today. Greenville was probably the best site for the amount of sun we were getting today.

Loved the course . . . too bad my fuel system decided to crap out for the FIRST time in 18 years  :?

Thanks to the "pushers" who helped get the car off the course and back to my pit. :D

FYI it worked fine after the tow home . . . figures

Thanks to everyone who came out and braved the heat today. Event chairs Steve Carter and Maria Winslow did a great job setting up the course when the asphalt temperature was 130 degrees yesterday.

Special thanks to Chris Suich for driving the bus to Greenville and handling the blowout of a tire, changing it and still getting to the site on time.

Hope everyone has recovered from the heat. It was very nice of the site to open up the doors and run the big fans. A sunny 100 degree day could be bad at some of the other sites.

Thanks,
Charlie

Yes! I had a great time too. The heat was intense, but i'd do it all over again... the course was much fun, but i had trouble finding traction.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next event in Danville

Many thanks to everyone that helped Gwen in her moment of distress and to those who helped get our cars and truck loaded and brought them to us a the hospital.

Glad to hear the Gwen is going to be OK. It was stupid hot out there.

Congrats to the Brothers Westerfield! When I parked my car after 4 runs I was ahead of both of them on net time, but I knew that all they had to do was stay off the cones in their final runs to beat me. Which they did.
