Bad news good news:
The Tour is moved to Memorial Day weekend, the Pro the following weekend. Hope everybody can change their vacation plans.
The good news is the Tour will now be back in lot A same as last year. The bad news is they're not yet sure where the Pro will be.

Hasn't this event changed a couple of times already this year?

Yep! Most of the national events have changed at least once so far this year. I really think that SCCA needs to negotiate and contract for national event sites themselves instead of putting it into the hands of a local group/person to arrange. I suspect that the site owners don't understand the difference between local events and a national event since they are dealing with the same people that they always deal with, so don't think it's any big deal to cancel or move it to a different date.

My understanding of the FedEx site is that they (FedEx Field) have a clause that they can withdraw the right to rent their facility under pretty liberal circumstances...I forgot the details. While it's certainly frustrating I can certainly understand the FedEx position (i.e., they are willing to accommodate a bunch of losers who like to drive around cones in parking lots for relative chump change, but if they have a chance to bring in a concert or some other major money making event to the stadium then they need to seize it, especially since it's difficult for arenas of any type to be profitable. Once again, us cone jockeys are kind of between a rock and a hard place, just have to make the best of it :-)

FedEx can cancel 60 days out from the scheduled event. So we have to hold our breath until the end of March.

The other good news is Lee Piccone is designing the Tour course. He designed last year's course and will be designing the North course at the Championships.

wouldn't it be "exciting" to have the pro in the same lot as the tour?
Be kinda like racing at Pikes peak in both directions! LOL!

Don't shoot the messenger, but it looks like all of this is still very much up in the air, at least officially. The announcement of the prosolo change by Brian Garfield of the group hosting the tour, got the group hosting the prosolo's panties in a bunch, even tho BG is the one setting up both dates with FedEX for both groups. Oops sounds like a little teritorial rivalry???
Stay tuned.
