Save the bracket race for the non-points AX maybe?

Didn't I break out by a couple hundreths!!! Dammit!! :) Good times

Actually I beat you by 2 hundreths of a second. ;)

You were pretty darn consistent, I was pretty consistent too if not for the coneage. Note that last round against Art I bumped up my dial-in and would have beat him if not for the freakin cone, story of my life. Good times indeed. That was a pretty damn exciting.

It's my birthday for the event Marcus, no chance you beat my on my birthday. I thought I'd have to give you a couple seconds.

Your bet is, of course, accepted. Bring it.

Sorry Brice, I am going to have to beat you in my own car. :nana:

Bet still stands.

What's the run/work setup this weekend? Normal 2 and 2, or something else?

So for those of us who either never did an all-at-once with the club or that was so long ago they don't remember, how does it work? Are the classes further divided into four groups?

I guess I could wait and figure it out tomorrow, but for some reason I'm curious.

These opportunities don't come along too often, so:

I don't know how the groups will be split up; the worker coordinators do that. My guess is that we'll have three, kind of like this

Run first/work second
Run second/work third
Run third/work first

But I won't swear to that. Which cars go into which group is, I believe, determined by the software.

Cool. So more like a National Tour that ain't got an assload of competitors.

Well hell, I'll have the kids with me, so fun runs are probably out. So that means its gonna be four runs on Hoosiers I didn't even have a chance to scrub yet, brand new shocks with no idea where to set them, swaybar with six settings and a guess as to where to put that, no great idea on tire pressures, and I haven't autocrossed in like three years.

Yeah, this is gonna be fun!

Sounds like it'll be fun to watch. :)

We run mine at 34f/30r, but they're 17s instead of 16s.

Have you gotten it aligned?

Oh yeah, we did align it right before putting it on the trailer. Max front camber, little more than that in the rear, zero front toe, 1/8" of toe-in for the rear.

Hoping for tail happiness. Wait, that didn't come out right.

Oh, and the tires are on those JDM lightweight wheels. And damn are they light! Jonathan found a set for $800 very close to him, so I had him buy those for me. They're no beauty queens, hence the good price, but they're just fine for racing. I'm hard on wheels anyway, so considering pretty ones go for $1500 or so, I'm happy.

That sounds like a good place to start. We have our camber set to 2.0 at all 4 corners - well, 1.9 for one of the fronts, but call it 2.0. It could just be something I've never experienced before, having never owned a proper RWD car until this one, but to me, it responds big time to rear toe changes.

I hope you enjoy it; they're a riot. Tomorrow's course should be a good one, too. At least, I hope it is - took us long enough to get it set up...

Nice job, folks. Definitely a fun event, even if the weather didn't help us out much. Very good course! My car kind of stunk, but that was to be expected, I guess. Know which direction to go, but I wouldn't have if the rain had come earlier, so I'm happy. :)
