What exactly makes makes a car STU? I have unfortunately not been around the autoX group long enough to remember the fabled days of the ST(?) days which the new STU class is emulating.

Is there a place that I can find the rule set for this class? Is it basically for just the AS,BS, CS cars to have a place to go if they dont want to go ESP/SM?

Someone fill me in so I can feel smarter and educated.

Thanks guys!

- Brian

STU emulates STX by the letter. The difference is that STU allows the excluded cars from STX.

That would be...

over 2.0L and turbo, etc.

The car must still be a 4 seater. This will allow things like a Supra Turbo, Camaro, E36 M3, STi, Evo, etc.

The other deviation is the wheel size and tire size (I'd have to look back in the other threads about this to verify those).
