Good luck to all the Tarheel'ers heading down to the SCCA Dixie Tour this weekend!

The list includes (please forgive me if I missed somebody):

David Spratte (DS)
Karl Shultz (BS)
Eric and Chris Peterson (BS,BSL)
Keith Vail (BS)
Gwen and Bernie Baake (HS in their Tour debut!)

The weather forecast looks like it has cleared up from earlier reports and it should be nearly ideal for auto-x'ing <crosses fingers>. They usually periodically update the results during the day on their main site and they had a live timing system working at the end of last year. The website for the live results (sololive.scca.com) appears to be MIA at the moment so it looks like the SCCA may be up to its usual "box of chocolates" bag of tricks. As usual, no matter what happens, it should be a great time!

I am really looking forward to the event this weekend and the weather is looking great. Of course it would have cleared up now that I secured some real rain tires.

Can't wait to hang out and run with all the local and national peeps that I haven't seen in a while. I hope everyone has a safe trip down.

TAR HEEL IS TWO WORDS.

Otherwise we'd be TSCC (and before you say that taken by Triad remember that this club has been around for more than 50 years...I don't think Triad is half that old).

Let's get it right, people! :D

Donnie, you need sum edumacation, boy. The trademark "Tarheel Sports Car Club" was originated by some fine folks more known for thier affiliation with that other well known institution, NC State. That two word expression "Tar Heel" is associated with that "other" institution of larnin' (which will remain unnamed), but which may be accessed via the Internet @:

http://tarheelblue.cstv.com/ And note that even they can't always get right.
