Do we have a noise ordinance at any of our sites?? I am putting a different lighter exhaust on the miata and someone asked me. I never really paid much attention to it.

If so does any one a decible meter that I can borrow in a few weeks? Or know where i can get it checked.

Um, nobody ever had a problem with Walter's camaro, so I think the answer is a resounding no.

We don't have a noise ordinance at any of our sites as far as I know. However, I encourage our participants to not make their cars over-the-top loud because there aren't any official noise restrictions. The course workers - especially the person working at start - will really appreciate it.

Actually I think the club bought a dB meter just because of Walter's Camaro. The only site that had an issue was be Greenville so he used steel wool in the tail pipes to make it less loud. That fix only lasted about one run IIRC though.

BTW, I'll bet our Lemons Prelude is louder than his Camaro!

I don't think so, its louder than a RX-7 but I still think Walter's Camaro is king

Nobody can find the club's dB meter. I know we had one at one point, though, I've seen it.

Seeing how close those houses are along the back side of the Sanford runway, I've often wondered how long it would be before complaints surfaced. I guess they're numb from the train noise, so something like Walter's car goes almost unnoticed?
