what class are you trying to run in? I've got a set of 16x7.5's (the tires that are on them won't fit, but I'll take the tires off and sell seperately if you want) that are a GREAT fit for a mini (4x100 +43). They aren't stock class legal though. . .

Check the FS forum if you're interested.

He wants to run STX :D

Yeah! Run STX. Then I'll have some competition worthy of some effort on my part. :D

Wow. I can't find my copy of the course map. And I never throw anything away. I did find two in-car videos from that event on my PC, one of Whitney (FT-Pax) in the red 325is and another of an unknown (to me) 1st gen Miata driver.

There was lots of griping about the course, primarily the giant offsets. I was an early complainer, but then during my walk-throughs I realized it was the perfect course on which to beat Randy Melton :) At the end of the day, the usual suspects rose to the top (at the bottom of this page: http://thscc.com/autocross/events/2005/ ... class.html )

And that's when you realized that all the beer over the years had impeded your short term memory and you would have to drive on courses that don't ever change and that you can fuse to your long term memory.

I would talk trash but I know how this story ends...

I plan to be at the first 4 events and try to drag along anyone else I can to co-drive.

I plan to run STX all year (except Laurinburg - due to ants and tire wear) at the moment, but if the right STi comes along, I may be switching classes. Just hoping to come reasonably close to the STX BMW with the big wang, if it's still around.

How do people keep getting bitten by fire ants at Laurinburg? I don't remember ever having a problem with it. I just don't stand on the grass. Seems easy enough.
