I heard on nasioc.com today that the NCAC single two day event is confirmed, that they will try to get Laurens, SC for the event, and that CCR will be the "hosting region". Hmm could be a lot of fun.

I like the site and have friends down in that area; I'll be there. Interesting to have the single 2-day event format for this year. I've driven on that site, although not officially.

Yes, it was decided at the NCAC planning meeting on Saturday that for 2004 the NCAC will be a 2 day event at Laurens SC hosted by CCR. I'm hoping that the event this year will be a really great event because it has a lot of potential. Details should be forth coming from CCR.

At this point, the format for the 2005 NCAC is still open. The current plan is to have a planning meeting pretty soon after the 2004 event and decide what the format will be for 2005 at that point. We will make a decision to either stay with the single event or go back to the 4 event format. So if you have any opinions on the format of the NCAC let your club leadership know.

Oh and by all means if you have really strong opinions on NCAC please step up and take over leadership of the series. In my opinion, lack of a willing chairperson for 2004 is the main reason the series got cut to one event this year.

I like the 2 day format and single event idea anyway. My guess is that you will get full classes and some of the best competion just because of the format, with it's Nationals style.

Any idea on a date for this gig? Hopefully it won't overlap any of the east of Kansas Tour/ProSolo SCCA events. - AB
