I've got some repair work (window replacement and water damage repair) that I need estimates for. anyone know a good, licensed, general contractor for this type of work?

You might try long time club member Lee Hagan. Not sure if he is retired yet, but here is the best contact info I could find.

H and H Construction

I can recommend this gentleman.

Billy Rogers Construction
919-669-7778

He's replaced all the windows in my home; reasonably priced and quality work. He also resided my home and did other repairs as needed around soffits and gables.

You can tell him I sent you. ;-)

Not sure if you want a "general contractor" or a "general" contractor (someone who doesn't specialize in a specific type of construction).

IMHO, I'd look for 1 guy who can do it all himself or one guy to do the windows and one to do the water damage repair.

To me it's a waste of $$$ to pay a General contractor for something like this- i.e.- if all they're gonna do is sub everything out and then add on 15-20% to the bill for basically making a couple of phone calls.

Sorry if I offended any GC's out there.........
