TR dropped the price on the Dunlop Z1 215/40-17s that I *just* bought.

Anyone know if they offer refund/credit in these situations, or am I SOL?

Can't find anything on the website.

Maybe there is a price war going on. I just received a $100 rebate offer from Toyo on the R888, R1R. Also a $50 rebate on the T1R and Proxes 4.

If they had tossed the RA1 into the mix and with the Toyo bucks I have won...maybe I could afford two new ones. :lol:

Just called - they're refunding 50% of the difference (since the order was 3 weeks ago). I'm cool with that.

I saw a TV ad for Colony Tire recently saying buy 3 Toyos (any model, as I recall) and get one 1 free. Wonder how that would compare with other sources for RA-1s, etc. ?

Precision Tune also had a mailer go out in the last few days: Buy 3 Kumho tires, get 1 free.

Unfortunately, there isn't a start or end date on the ad. :(

Colony Tire is higher than TireRack on Michelins & i suspect that they are higher than Mark @ HH&W. even given the buy three one free deal the difference would be negligible for me given the level of service club members receive from HH&W.

Yeah - nice to put names/faces to cars (instead of just 'the dude with the white ITR' :lol: )

Tirerack is calling it a 'one time allowance'.
