I helped my mom purchase a 2003 Lincoln Town Car. It was a great price, but needed a little body work. It needed the driver's side quarter panel repaired, but it had a dozen or more small things that I really wanted fixed. Most were just scratches, but some of them went down to bare metal, and there were two small rust spots on the top.

I went the usual route of getting estimates from various body shops to cover the roughly 10 small things and one big one I asked them to look at. I wasn't trying to get the car to look like new, just significantly better. I got two estimate for $2500.

I took it Lloyd at Colors on Parade in Wendell and had him look at it. First off, I've never met a nicer person in the body shop business. After talking with him and going over the car, I could tell that he was a person that took great pride in his work. This car had another dozen small spots on it that could have stood to be touched up or buffed a little also, but I didn't want to have to pay a conventional body shop the money to fix every tiny scratch and make it perfect. It just wasn't worth it.

Lloyd gave me a price that was about half of what the other two shops gave me. He understood that the big repair areas, I wanted done right, and the small stuff, I just wanted to look better, not necessarily perfect. When I got the car back, I was astonished. The large areas he had repaired looked factory perfect. The paint match was exactly perfect. The texture and color looked like factory paint. I was blown away. He fixed all of the other areas I asked him to look and another dozen that he did for free. While I was looking over the car after the work was done, he noticed a few small scratches on the bumper that was not on my list (I was just going to let that one go) and he ran inside before I could leave to put some touch up paint on it. He basically made it disappear with his magic hands!

He did so much for me that he didn't even charge me for and the work he did was excellent. He fixed panels that others wanted to replace because he knew I was trying to do this on a budget. He even fixed some deep cuts into two plastic door panels and made them look like new. Nobody else wanted to try to fix plastic door panels. It looked great though.

Anyway, Lloyd did an excellent job and I can't recommend him enough. If I ever need body repair again, I'll be contacting him.

I also give Colors on Parade two thumbs up. I recently bought a daily driver off eBay that had some sloppy minor bodywork & repaint on the front right corner. I took it to a couple body shops to get quotes, and Lloyd at Colors on Parade was the only one willing to quote - seems some of the bigger shops are getting pretty snooty about rework jobs, claiming they don't want to get involved in a problem caused by another shop. In short, I went ahead and had Colors on Parade do the work, and it came out looking like brand new. I couldn't be happier, I highly recommend Lloyd / Colors on Parade.
