My mechanic for 10 years has moved away. Suggestions for a good GM mechanic? I have a great Nissan and Mazda one already.

Thanks

If Kent is still around, he would be the guy I would bring my car to. I don't remember his last name, but the last time I remember, he was working at the Dodge dealer on Route 1 near the 1A intersection in Wake Forest. - AB

I'd like them to be closer to Apex/Cary,
but thanks for the suggestion.

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

FYI: Kent is up at Leith Chevy in that area. He helped me diagnose a problem with the Vette a few months ago. He is the man. I'll drive up there to get it done right.

Marty I don't know anyone in the Cary area. But I do know that if you take a Vette to Hendrix in Cary they will never fix hard problems. A friend had an ABS error that they "fixed" several times over a 3 year period... I'd stay away from them.

As general mechanics there is Cary Car Care and a lot of people here use them and seem pretty happy.

I'll throw in a recommendation for Carolina Imports. Despite the name, they've done all the work on my Trans Am, and they race Corvettes. They are great people, fair and principled to a fault, and I simply can't imagine taking my car anywhere else.
