The lack of a "helper arm" on that tire changer would mean at least one extra body to help you with anything low profile and stiff. Very stiff and low profile on tiny rims would mean a couple extra bodies to help. You'll also need several extra tire irons. The question to check is whether it has the mounting support for a helper arm and how much said device is. IMHO, a tire changer with no helper arm isn't of much use to the average sports car racer. I'd rather pay and take my tires to someone...

After using Donnie's, I agree whole heartedly. The helper arm makes mounting anything 50 series or below feasible. Otherwise, you end up with a bunch of friends that truly don't like you :) - AB

The helper arms do help. Some of that stuff isn't that hard without. However most of the applications that are giving you guys grief at home are tires that would "technically" be too wide for the wheel they are going on. Then the arm is critical.

Is it wrong to put a 225/50/13 on a 5" rim? Yes, Rob Carpenter used to run those on his CRX in GS back about 4 years ago  - AB

May not be the ideal, but if it works then go for it! :D

$1895 good deal?
At $20 Mark per tire and great service I would let Mark Cooper do it.
He needs to pay for his alignment rack and affoad to give good discounts
to club members-support our sponsor!
