A guy I work with is looking for a Porsche repair shop that is reputable. Actually, he is also looking for a Porsche to take there so maybe I need to ask the question the other way around :?

He is looking for a 912 or 911. Anyone have info on either question?

Although I have no personal experience with these people, I have heard good things about them from members of the PCA. I will probably take the 928 there the next time a major service is needed.

www.motorcarinvestments.com

Their shop is called European Performance and is located right across the street from the dealership (click on "Click Here for Service"). Could be an answer to both questions...

Or he could buy a real Porsche and look at my 944. It's still for sale, and the price is quite negotiable!

I have an old friend that opened a shop last winter who specializes in Porsches (and owns a couple) although he works on pretty much any european car. He does buyers/sellers inspections and will travel to the vehicle if needed.

He was the head mechanic at Crossroads European for over 10 years and really knows his stuff. He has very reasonable rates and is extremely honest. He is the only mechanic that I'll currently let touch one of my cars even though I don't own anything european at the moment.

His contact info is:

Tioga @ Automotive Performance Solutions
2809 White Cross Road
Chapel Hill, NC 27516
