Well, the good news, so far, is it looks like they're calling it a total loss.
Haven't found out how far they're going to bed me over the barrel on the settlement, or whether I'll get any value from, or be able to take off, the "fuel efficiency" parts I've added, but at least I know I don't need to worry about that thing anymore.
Well, so far I'm impressed with Allstate. They took their time coming up with a number, but at least it's a good number.
Reminder - if you only have one car with a back seat, and that seat now has a carseat mounted in it, make sure you have rental coverage, or good friends and family!
