Matthew, I don't know what the suspension setup is like on the nissan trucks, but if they use the liquid filled tension/compression arm that they use on some of their cars, make sure those aren't busted. It's an easy check just by looking at them.

If these go bad, they can cause problems with brake rotors.

i'm not sure how the setup you are talking about works but pretty much the front suspension is a lower and upper control arm where the lower control arm (with hub) is held in the ride height position by a torsion bar that runs back to about half the body of the truck. and theres a small (8-10 inch) shock between the two control arms. i don't think the torsion bar or any of the parts are liquid filled. or at least it didnt seem that any were when i took it all apart to change my lower control arm earlier in the year. I'm going to take it to Auto Masters in cary on saturday. I didn't think of them when I asked this question but I took it there for an alignment after i changed the control arm and I thought they were very professional and helpful.

Crickets in Cary : I've had A/C work and a couple of problems that
were hard to diagnose taken care of. Quick diagnosis, fair price and
quick turn around.
Heard good things about Jappy Japs and the owner, Rex, is a club member.
