Have a friend at work that has a 2000 audi S4. He just took it to Leith for a 60k inspection and they state it needs a lot of front end work. With this kind of mileage, I'm inclinded to disagree. That said, can any one recommend a good mechanic in the triangle area? Leith quoted a pretty heafty price for some tie rod, upper control arms repairs and rear brakes. Just trying to find a good mechanic for him. Let me know of any recommendations in the triangle area please.

Thanks

Not to self promote or anything, but.......

One of our guys is a master audi tech, and used to work at leith. Also S4's are what I would term high maintainance vehicles. The front links have intergral ball joints, so when the ball joints go you have to replace the entire link.

So....what kind of rate are we talking here? You're welcome to email me or pm me directly. Could your mechanic look over the car and see if these repairs are really neccessay? Give me some contact info and I'll pass it on.

Thanks...
