I'm looking for an alternative to the dealership for buying TOYOTA parts. I'm talking about actual Toyota parts, not "OEM" quality that fit a Toyota. I need another dozen oil filters and some other items!

I have never ordered from the Toyota parts department, but I have their Mitsubishi parts department on speed dial! :whoknows:

If you call before ~2pm it should go out that day. It takes 2 days to get a package of goodies from them to Greenville, NC. They ship with Airborne Expresss exclusively.

For the DSM's, they cary most every nut, bolt and washer you can think of and lord knows it seems like I have had to order every one!

Phil, what parts do you need? Register for the Toyota contengency program. They ahve great parts support.

Dealer price on a motor mount? $80

My price? $37 shipped to my door.

The hard part is that you need the 10 digit Toyota part number to order anything.

Toyota clutch and pressure plate? under $100, shipped, etc.

Edit: If the contengency program is too much hassle, then check out www.toyotaworld.com

^Whoa! What's the deal with the contingency plan?

Are they still supportive to those of us who still run 16 year old MR2's, or are they more likley to support the late model cars?

If you register for the plan they will give parts support for *any* Toyota vehicle (subject to parts availability). Technically it is supposed to be the competition car only, but my tow vehicle (Tundra) got a nice price on a set of OEM step bars...

They only pay contengency money for winning to people that drive current generation vehicles (so Jim P isn't eligible to win money in the 2nd gen MR2, but anyone with a new Celica is good to go).

Shoot me an email at celica73@earthlink.net and I will send you the registration packet.
