If you don't mind shipping (or driving) it to Asheville, Jerry Hagan is one of the best around. He "rebuilt" Tom Hoppe's National Championship-winning "stock" turbo.

Jason sent his MR2Turbo to someplace in Texas. They did a nice job. Let me know if you want the contact info. (He shipped the turbo only, not the whole car.)

The guys in Asheville look like a good place to start. fortunately I work in that area often enough to avoid shipping. Thanks for the lead Kevin.

Did you get your turbo rebuilt? If so, who did you go with and how did it turn out? I have a 20 year old 944 Turbo so will eventually have get the turbo rebuilt.

Thanks,
Mark

Sorry for the late reply. Ended up going with the guys at Deadbolt Enterprises in Asheville, NC. They did a great job and provided us with a quick turnaround. I will use them again when I need another turbo rebuild. If you use them please mention that Fireant Racing sent you. They are on the web at www.boostplanet.com

Hmm, wonder if I have time to do that for my "stock" STi turbo before Nationals?
