This might be the last year of running my current daily driver in STS. So I am getting ready to convert it back to stock in preperation for sale. 8)

But when I pull my Ground Control Spring/Shocks from the car I want to leave them assembled (for potential quick transfer into a different Honda)

So to put the old shocks/springs back in, I would need replacement items like spring mounting plates, rubber perches, nuts, washers, bump stops, stock shock dust covers, etc. to replace the items I am keeping with the assembled GC units.

Where should I go for this stuff? Local Honda parts department? If so which dealer? Internet vendor? If so, who? Pull these off of a car at a salvage yard? If so, where?

I've bought from them several times, and never had any problems. They have the pages from the parts book online, too, so it's easy to find what you're looking for.

I would go with salvage. Wagner's in Durham isn't particularly friendly or cheap, but they are convenient and efficient. I know Karl S bought some rebuidable suspension bits there for his race car.

Try this...

National Junkyard search

Had the digital dash go out in my prelude one time. Honda wanted 600. got it for 70$ through a junkyard I found on that site.

Also check out San Leandro Honda. I don't have the link handy, but they're similar to Majestic, which is the actual dealer for the first web site posted. Their web site is GREAT and the pics actually work. I've used it to figure out what I'm buying from Majestic. Also, I don't believe that they charge a $5 handling fee like Majestic.

Now does anyone have a toyota dealer for cheap parts?

Thanks Phil,

Google sent me here... http://www.slhondaparts.com/

The images on San Leandro do seem to be better. At the least it is nice to have an online resource for the part numbers and photos from the parts books.
