Resurrecting again -

Windshield pitting on the SVT is bad - Miata is even worse.

No luck having a tree branch fall on either one (that's for you, Cline  )

Current recommendations? Price is an object, since both will be out of pocket.

Used Raleigh Glass about 2 months ago in Tina's Civic and was happy with the result. They did a full cut, primed and replaced. The installer seemed competent and detail oriented.

Can't speak to price as it was covered by insurance.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Just submitted to Glass Masters online - $145 for the Miata - not bad! Scheduled for Friday, but now I'm wondering if it is not a good idea to toss the car around at the TnT so soon after the replacement if they use any adhesives.

As someone who has dealt with Window Weld in the past, it won't be a problem.

SOS just replaced my wife's pathfinder windshield again this morning. They seem to be family run and do a great job.

What is the current word on windhsields? I'm calling my insurance tomorrow to see how covered I am, but I know I'm going to need one.

I have been going to Auto Glass Now for about 15 years. I think they changed names at some point, but the guy running the place is the same. Between family and friends I have had 7 windshields replaced there. Out of pocket for all of them was $0. They will talk to the insurance company and cover your deductible.
