Who does everyone recommend for high quality paintless dent removal??? Is anyone planning another dent day anytime soon?

Simon Wright had good luck with one fo the Raleigh places, hopefully he chimes in.

I'm also needing a little dent repair, so I could use a dent day soon. Anyone want to plan one?

Sanford is close, maybe someone could just come out to Sanford and do the work there?

Is it time for DentFest 2003 Part Deux? We have been doing these on Saturdays. If there are about 10 people or so interested, I will organize it for y'all, even though I am Dent Free since the last one!

So, please chime in here if you would be interested, and let me know what Saturdays do and do not work for you. I will call John (the dent guy).

Both of my cars actually need some dents removed, if that helps add to the total number of cars required to do the dent day.

I'm in for sometime in November. The Miata has 2 dents I'd like to get knocked out...

BTW, John-the-dent-guy does excellent work. I had a couple of ugly door dings on the old Eclipse that he did wonders with.

Nov. 15 is best for me. If I still have the 944 at that time It'll need help too.

If Nov 15 doesn't work out Nov 22 would be OK, although I'd really like to work the rally that weekend.

I am interested.

In general what has been the cost / cost savings on THSCC DentFests? I assume the charge is on a per-dent basis or time spent type of thing?

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

It varies. And it's usually open for negotiation. I think he was doing $40 min for a panel, more if there are lots and lots of dents. I have seen whole-car jobs for up to $200.

It usually works out to a pretty reasonable $60-80 per hour rate, far cheaper than most local places charge, and a reasonable rate in my opinion for the experience and artist-quality skill they have. I love watching them work.

Don't we have an autox in Sanford on Nov 15? Maybe he could be talked into coming with us and doing the work there. Might have to throw in a few passenger runs to make it worth his time.
