Hi y'all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Rex Deffenbaugh at "Happy Japs" on Chapel Hill Road in Cary has really helped me out on a few "impossible" bushing/balljoint installs on the Civic. Rex is a fellow racer too, running a car in SCCA ITS.

He has a lot of experience with Japanese cars, and I saw the results of one ZC swap into a Civic there. Nice work.

Now if I can just get him to come to a couple of meetings. Rex was a member of the club until a few years ago. Knows Mark Senior as well.

Mike

I used them for my old Honda Prelude. They were honest and did good work for me. This was a couple of years ago though.

^Come on now... some of us younguns' drive datsuns too.

Rex helped us sorted out a baffling leanout problem on our 280Z about a year ago. It ended up being a matter of Motorsport Auto sending us a 240Z intake/exhaust gasket instead of a 280Z gasket (with holes for the injector ports)... so gas was somehow dripping through the gasket and into the intake. God only knows how it ran at all in that state.
