For some complex reasons, my original R&J thread was closed. I wanted to make a bunch of updates that are consistent with the updated forum guidelines to my original posting
here.
With regard to the event that caused me to post, I had asked R&J to do an exhaust header fitment which required some welding. During the fitment, the lost 2 of the stock header studs and stripped out the thread on the third stud hole.

This cost me and a friend many hours of repair time when the header was ready to be installed for real.
I actually returned to R&J to have a custom cat-back installed. Upon my return, I spoke directly with Robert about my past experience. I explained all the details that made me unhappy. Robert did not deny any of my issues, and he basically took responsibility for my problems. I eventually figured out that one of the shop techs did the header fitment, so it's basically a crap shoot if you are not dealing directly with Robert. All things being equal, this was not an acceptable resolution to my original problem.
However, I needed to have a custom cat-back installed, and R&J is one of the only choices in this area. I basically gave Robert a second chance (against my better judgement). The second time, he did a magnificent job installing my cat-back. All the fitment was top-notch. Price was a little high, but totally worth it.
I have actually gone back a third time to install a real nice twin-loop muffler. Robert came through for me again the third time, and I am very pleased with the work.
I have been to their shop several times, so if anyone has questions about R&J I will be happy to share what I know.
