A friend of mine is looking for a BRZ mechanic. Routine maintenance & possibly some performance mod's.
Any recommendations.
The closer to Johnston county the better.

thanks

There's nothing special about a BRZ (I've got one), so I'd be looking for most any independent mechanic (Subaru or otherwise). Happy Japs is probably a good place to start - the Deffenbaugh's (sp?) are members/racers so they will understand the desire to do mods and take care accordingly.

What does he/she need? are they willing to learn to do the work on their own? Most things are easy to do with a little bit of knowledge.

Thanks for the input, I've passed it on.

He able to do his own work. But being able to have someone else do it right the first time and/or do it right the second time is worth the cost.

I get the point, I would rather do the work myself despite the extra time it takes me to learn... but when you have more vehicle then days of the week, it gets expensive paying someone else to do the work.

I do as much as I able too.

Leaves more money for other things.

Not only that, while fixing problem "A", I sometimes find there's a problem "B" or "C" I didn't know about or is on the verge of becoming a problem.
