Just curious if we have a place we like that does magnetic numbers. Someplace inexpensive that can turn stuff around fast.

A few years back Jack Rabbit signs was a sponsor. I went there for numbers, expecting a decent price and what I got was less than ideal and expensive. Much better options at Soloperformance for less money. There may be a better option that's not a sponsor, or a new sponsor that has better pricing by now. Maybe just use blue tape for next weekend and get something more permanent after that?

I just bought magnetics from Solo Performance (SPS). You would need to call to see if this week is possible. Mine took a couple of weeks for standard block white plus some decals and additional material and ground shipping. There are lots of options out there, of course.

Wanting to support a local business, I tried RTP Signs on my way home from work. Their own website doesn't list their operating hours, but Google had them open until 6:00. I was there at 5:40. Someone was inside but the doors were locked. I doubt I'll give them a second chance, there's too many other options on the internet.

Note to small business owners: please put your operating hours on your website. Extra credit for actually being open during all of them.

I also emailed iZoom to ask if there was any way I could order something and have it show up by this weekend. They did respond, and said I'd have to order that day (Monday). Unfortunately, they didn't send the response until 7:16PM.

So, I went to A.C. Moore, and bought $16.00 worth of basic magnetic sheet. They didn't sell any bulk vinyl to chance the color with, so I guess I'm stuck with basic white.

That is what I've always done. Mag sheet and a roll of vinyl from Amazon. Print numbers and letters from Word. Trace & Cut.

You can always paint w/ either some plastidip or I've found that fabric die spray from the local car parts places work well. You just need something that can take some bending.

Thanks for the reminder as I think I tossed my GS magnets last year...

I might be running blue tape this weekend on the windows.

I got my original numbers from izoom. I have been trying to get in touch with them for updated letters. I've contacted them 3 times and received no response. Maybe they're out of business?

Maybe so. They responded to me around when I posted this thread. Then last week, I sent another email to ask them if they could do something in particular. No response. I gave up.

Every time I buy a new car, I either create a thread like this, or bump this one. :) This time's no different.

Any current suggestions for a local place for magnetic autocross numbers that you've been happy with recently? I need someone who can turn it around fast. I'm going to the Pro in Blytheville weekend of March 6th, and need them for that. I don't get the sense that the online places can get them to me that fast.

Thanks!

Have you called SPS to see if they can turn the numbers soon enough or even bring them to Blytheville since I think Dave intends to be there?

I just ordered a set from http://www.izoomgraphics.com/. Quick shipping and without a lot of digging, the cheapest set I could find other than making my own.
