I pulled off the rear struts and found that the rubber bushings had become damaged. In process of replacing them with fresh ones I found that the hydraulic line from the strut body to the external reservoir was leaking on the left rear. Does anyone know of anyplace locally that can repair or replace that line? The strut itself seems fine. The line gets a lot of flexing action in competition. Would be nice if it could be replaced with steel braided lines.

The issue here is that if it's leaking, you're likely losing compression, so it'll be more than just replacing the line, it's finding someone who can charge the system too. I would try to call either one of the roundy round shops in Charlotte or you can try Ohlin and see if they can do it. What brand are the shocks? - AB

Hotbits. The rears have an external reservoir. You're right - they'd need a recharge. Hoping for someone local - don't want to send it off if I can hep it but need to get on it now. 10 days before we leave for next event.

Who or what is "Ohlin"?

Try these guys. http://www.resuspension.com/

You can also get your shock "recharged" at any motorcycle shop.

That's them. They are in central NC, although from the looks of it, Marcus' company looks good. - AB
