A friend is moving from RTP to Massachusetts in the next few months, and needs to move his *nice* early 70s big-block Nova up there with him.

Other than the standard findings from searching the web, has anyone used any specific enclosed transport companies they would recommend?

He's being quoted around $1100 for enclosed, insured transport from a few different sources. He's fine with that, just wants to choose the best (safest, most reliable) one he can.

(Driving it up is not an option for him. And he does not own a tow rig.)

Thanks!
Richard

I used Intercity Lines and was very pleased, they picked a car up I bought in DC on Saturday morning and had it to me that afternoon, with only two days notice that the car was ready for pick up.

My dad and I have both used Angels Moving Autos (http://www.angelstransport.com/); they brought the Elise back from Seattle in an enclosed trailer for me. Probably not the cheapest out there, but very professional.
