Do you guys have any suggestions for a place near Cary/Morrisville that could supply and bend 18 gauge sheet metal?

We don't use any sheet here at work so no first hand experience, but I asked a vendor of mine and he recommended trying these two places. Not in Morrisville/Cary, but in Raleigh....

Stainless Steel Fabricators - 833-3520 - ask for Jim Schoff - off of Capital Blvd somewhere? - http://www.sstlf.com/

Stainless Steel Specialties - 779-4292 - near Wake Tech? - http://www.ssspec.com/

Thanks Stephen.

Just for future reference, I found a place that was able to make what I wanted.

This is what I had made:

It was $60, which included the material cost.

This is just plain steel. The top was 3' x 3' x 1.5" deep. I intend to use it for some light welding projects.

The issue that might make your top more expensive is that the sheets are delivered as 4x8 sheets, so if you have a lip all around like mine, it's going to require additional welding.
