Big, Big thanks to everybody who came out to make this event happen today. The EV folks were happy and already talking about next year.

Special thanks to Stephen for getting the bus to the event, and Jim for setting up the course.

Kendt and Charlie, I have EV shirts for you. See me at the next autocross/track event.

I got to drive this Miata today, when the batteries are "full" the electric motor puts out over 400 pound feet of torque. :shock: They were running it in 3rd all day; by the time I got in, it required second. Good times.

Inspired, no doubt, by the Bond Bug.

It has to say something about me that when I was young, I thought the Bond Bug was really cool. I had an Airfix 1/72 kit that had the spaceframe and drivetrain and so on, and I left the "door" unattached so I could lift it on and off.

I think it must have been the colour that made it cool. That and the side curtains.
