I have the bus at my house for a few weeks primarily to fix the PA but I thought I would see if there are other issues -- since I have not been at many events recently.

Please keep this thread serious and relevant. If you want to volunteer to do some things, hit me up and we can work out a time.

Here are some items off the top of my head:

- Fix PA (cutting out/bad amp?)
- Mount small fans on walls
- Recharge AC
- Clean bus interior
- Check leaking hatch (is it still leaking?)

Anything else?

Mike,

Add another invertor on each side please. With the new powered USB hub we don't have enough and have to run a cord across the bus. Doesn't sound bad but it is annoying.

Can I just add a 110v triple-tap? If we're not approaching the capacity of the inverter I'd rather not add another one.

Todd, would a simple mounted power strip on each side suffice? The inverters are additional points of failure and noise in the bus, which may make adding more less than ideal.

Edit: what's that they say about great minds? :)

Mike,
The hatch is still leaking. I witnessed the water coming in on the speaker wire in the groove between the two halves of the wire.

I just got oil dry recently, but let me know if we need more. I will be right across the street from Northern Tool tomorrow.

Yep, either one of those ideas would be great. Thanks.

I don't understand why the USB hub would need external power once it's hooked to a PC. We just plugged in the USB hub to the PC yesterday and the mouse and (I presume) the printer worked OK that way.

We got a powered USB hub because the self-powered unit liked to ground out and shut the system down. Not relying on the computer to power the hub over USB is a good thing.

Are people really not plugging the hub into AC? Really? After the cluster that we endured in Sanford?

I have been plugging it into the outlets but I forgot to put that in my notes for the bus set up. Oops.
