...and all you have to do is write an article for the Heel and Toe. We have sponsors that pay good money to advertise in the Heel and Toe so we need to spice it up. I know we have members that do all kinds of events outside the club both locally and nationally, so let's hear about them. Something club related or car related would be nice, but entertaining is all that is really necessary. Send me your articles at president@thscc.com and if we use them I will give you $20 of THSCC money that can be used at ANY THSCC event.

Articles should be anywhere from 3/4 to 1 1/2 pages in a 10 font in MS Word.

I honestly am mad as hell right now!

Why in the hell didn't I think of this when I was president?

I could write up something about the work on the 914, but then again much of it is already on my blog. So I don't know if that is worth doing or not. :whoknows:

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Something about how to detail a car in the paddock of an autocross on a day with 50mph gusts?

An article describing my expenses at Colors on Parade in the quest to keep my autocross car looking perfect? By week's end I'm gonna be up over $1000 all told...

Dude, no offense, but most of us don't read your blog. Give it to us in the H&T!

Sure, that would work.

Do it. Both of them sound like they could be entertaining.

I guess I should establish the length of the article we are looking for. In MS Word, let's say they should be anywhere from 3/4 to 1 1/2 pages in a 10 font.

Can you guys accept something other than MS word? I've only got OpenOffice at home.

Just thought of another one. My report from the 12 hours of Sebring. I go down on Friday for the race.

Sure, that is fine. I can cut and paste it into word.

12 hours of Sebring sounds perfect.

I think you can save it as a Word ".doc" file in OpenOffice.

Not offended at all. I think maybe only one or two THSCC people even knew about it until yesterday. :) As it is currently written it really is geared toward the hard core 914 crowd.

I will try write something up that will work more for H&T which is a different audience.
