I am lost. Is there something in the works that we don't know about?

Apparently it was mentioned at the meeting last time. I think I heard that someone approached us about doing one for charity. IIRC

From the April Heel and Toe

"New Business: THSCC has been contacted to possibly do a fund raiser for
the Duke Children’s Hospital. The idea is for a Road Rally in November.
Performance BMW is offering a 2 year lease to the winner. Bowie briefly
described a TSD (time/speed/distance) road rally."

TSD can be lots of fun. I used to consider myself to be a pretty good TSD navigator back about 20 years ago.

We used to do these occasionally back in the day. I know these are a lot of work to organize, but they are fun.

I really want to do this also as it would allow my daughters to ride along also. Also, it would be fun to say that I "raced" the van!!

The last one was probably 6 years ago. If Mr. Whipple still has his notes as he was the organizer of it, we could probably run that one.

If you want to test your marriage, do it with your wife :-)

When I was in Quebec we did a few of what they call " Rallom "
It's part Rally part Slalom ( Autocross ).
You start with a TSD Rally, that at some point will bring you to an autocross course. You will do 1 or 2 runs on the autocross course. Then leave for another leg of the TSD Rally. That will ended up again at the autocross course for 1 or 2 more runs and that was the end of the event.
They where combining the time of the rally and the autocross for the final results.
