The four "courses" have been set up, and the six of us made damn sure that they were safe, for the better part of an hour. :lol: The lot is really nice, and drains well. Wet skidpads rule, too. :P

I haven't heard back from Mike about the stop sign. I will have it with me tomorrow at Discount Tire, if someone wants to stop by and pick it up you are more than welcome to. Otherwise, I will retire it back to my garage.

Hey man sorry for not getting back to you - got busy with the school :) It would have been nice but I think we'll do fine without it -- in fact it would be nice to have one in the bus for autocrosses as well.

Care to donate the sign to the club?

In case you wondered what the site looked like.

A fire truck shooting soapy water onto the course didn't make the skidpad lose grip. It has better grip than Danville.

I'm just sayin' ...

There should be an interesting video at the Christmas Party too, courtesy of last year's Rookie of the Year. :twisted:

So what happened with this. I helped set up on Friday and I'm assuming all went well on Saturday. Can anyone give some feedback as to how the event went? Happy students? Good/bad course setup? Instructor feedback, or did I just completely miss that thread.

...and more importantly, can we get a crack at renting the site for a seasoned members event to start with?
