and as a side note....

I want to vote myself as the worlds greatest procrastinator. I said at the first of the year I would investigate getting steps for the rear side door on the bus. I'm happy to say I still haven't done anything!!

Actually I have, I took pictures of the side and bottom near the door and took some measurements. The plan was to install some travel trailer steps under the door, but I haven't figured that one out yet. The way the bottom valance panel and floor supports are arranged, a standard set of retractable/fold down steps won't easily work. We could make them work if we cut away part of the valence panel, but I didn't know what kind of reception that would receive. Prices range from 100-300 for a set of retractable steps. There would also have to be some metal work to shore up the valance and add some trim around the rough opening.

The simplest solution is a 3 step kitchen step stool with the elevate grab handle extension or some portable plastic steps. I'd also recommend attaching it to the inside of the door so it serves as the reminder to place the steps after the doors are open (while the bus is stopped of course....)

Maybe we can review options at the bus day....

Just as long as Todd doesn't start talking about "Scoring in the Bus".

I still think we need a second bus, one with the blacked-out windows and a brass pole.

I second the motion.

Can't tell you how many times it has been suggested that I install a pole in my toter...

I plan on attending...

Are there any tools, cleaning supplies, paint, beer or whatever to bring?

Where is the bus and what time?

Still on. Sorry I've been busy with projects and haven't posted anything.

I'll organize the list of to-dos and make a separate post today.

My house, this Sat, start at 11am. Will postpone if it's raining or significantly below freezing.

Dustin - It's time to replace the internal accessory battery. I got the one that's in there from Sam's Club. It was a "generic" deep cycle marine battery.

Can you look into getting a replacement? I'd start withe Sam's again. it was a good price. Just needs to fit in the battery box. Might need to go to the bus to check dimensions.
