It is suppose to be just one event, however, since you are going to be driving the bus both ways and helping both days.....that might be worth a little extra....

If we can get the laptop back from Carl that has the announcer package of AX-Ware, I'll show you how to set it up and it makes announcing very easy because it gives you all the information you need.

Cos, the Friday portion will not be "timed", the annoucing is for other stuff.

Update....

So I talked to Ralph Goodwin yesterday, the guy in charge of the EV Challenge. Here is the scoop....

Saturday Morning
- I need 2-3 folks there early (6-6:30ish) to help set up the course. Any volunteers to design the course? Message me.
- Everyone else show up around 8-8:15ish. They are looking to start around 9:30 or so it sounds like. When you get there, you can either help chalk the cones or go on some course walks with the youngsters.
-He said they only have 9 cars this year so with each of them getting 5-6 runs, I am thinking we shouldn't be out of there any later than 1 or 2 PM.
-Lunch to follow.

Here is my final list of workers. If you aren't on this list, you are still welcome to come help out. If you are on this list and can't make it, let me know ASAP.

Just for those that don't know and are coming to work and/or spectate....

Friday's "Range Event" is going to be at Historic Oak View County Park

Saturday's Autocross will be held at the NC State McKimmon Center

Just wanted to clarify something. This thread has us getting there Friday around 10-11. According to the EV Challenge site, they are there around 8ish. Which one are we going to adhere to? Don't want to show up to late and disappoint the children. :twisted:

I will double check with him tomorrow. When I asked him earlier this week he said he wouldn't need us until 10.
