Way to go Graham!

The metal front end looks great, but unfortunately the fiberglass shell didn't restore as well as Graham and I had hoped :( Paint may be in its future some day. But for now the existing paint is sealed and won't leach off as quickly!

Good thing you got some interior pictures, since the inside isn't looking as clean anymore. Rodney and I got out hands on it and made some improvements to the front table section :)

Everyone may not realize what Graham went through on this... The bus has claimed its first victim. I copied Graham's story below:

Quote:
While buffing the roof in back where the metal panel is above the door. I somehow got my left thumb swiped across it. Started bleeding like a stuffed pig. Ann took me to the neighborhood clinic emergency room. 9 stitches, 4 Novocain injections, 1 Tetanus shot, a bunch of blood, quite a bit of pain, a fair amount of cursing Ford, and a $475 bill. I was back home in 2 hours and finished working on the bus just before dark. I’ve never liked Fords, now I officially hate the damn things!!!

BTW: Graham has retained legal counsel and is looking into sueing the THSCC, FORD, the maker of the conversion, the manufacturer of the buffer in a class action suit. I have been added because I have to listen to him whine about his damn hand hurting, how he can't use power tools, and he has already lost 1 day of vacation due to narcotic effects of the painkiller.

Yeah the painted metal shell and most of the chrome looks pretty good. That dusting was the paint literally falling off the fiberglass. Unfortunately that bus was probably never cleaned on the outside judging from the stains in the fiberglass. The final solution would be fresh paint if we can find a body shop that would give us a break. Maybe a potential sponsor.

The interior just needed a good cleanup and conditioning. Mike you get your butt back in that bus and clean up any mess you made. I'll be over tonight for a white glove inspection! (with only one hand ofcourse)

If you want the full size, high res pics to use for marketing to potential sponsors let me know. I've got them.

Graham

Beware of anyone with only one glove. Maybe Graham could get us Vaseline as a sponsor?
