Greetings Fellow Cone Dusters!

We have a new site in Greenville, NC! It is about a 90 minute drive from downtown Raleigh and easy to get to. The site is paved asphalt in very good condition with no light poles, curbs or islands in the middle of the main course. The site is completely fenced in on all sides and has stadium lighting available. Indoor restrooms will be made available to us.
How big is it? The main course area is over 50% longer than the RBC West lot and about the same width. We also have plenty of room for pit and grid.

Before we run a full scale, points event at a new site, we always like to "shake it down" with a practice or non-points event. So that we could possibly schedule this site for some of next year's events, the senior officers decided to move the "fun" non-points event to Greenville. We will be setting the limit to 90 cars when registration opens. As a special treat, we have made arrangements to test out the stadium lighting by running at least some fun runs after dark. Obviously, if this works out well, the potential exist for us to do other fun events at this site involving runs after the sun goes down. (Night events? 12 hour events? 24 hour events???)

Directions and details will be published on the website well in advance of the event.

Special thanks go to Ryan Holton for making me aware of this site. Thanks to all of those who send in tips about potential sites. As you can see, I do take them seriously and investigate those that have potential to suit our needs.
