I wouldn't presume to speak for Chuck Lankford, but I strongly suspect he won't see this. He made it quite clear last year that we'd need to find a new rally VP for 2017.

Ballots will be finalized tomorrow and an email sent to the membership with voting details. I'll also post a link in this thread.

Gotta say, the ballots are looking pretty thin this year. It would be prudent to start spreading the word throughout our membership and recruit new folks. Being a staff member or officer is a great experience, but as with any volunteer position (and the fact that we all have lives and responsibilities outside the club) most folks move on after a few years in their post. Also, having fresh people from varying backgrounds with new ideas helps to keep the club alive, as has been done for almost 52 years.

There is an immediate need for someone to take over as Business Development Manager. This role is essentially our liaison to our club sponsors, working with them to promote their businesses and THSCC, and reaching out to develop relationships with new sponsors. The ideal candidate will have clear, professional communication skills, experience with business management, and is an active participant with all club programs. This is a "paid" position. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact president@thscc.com

As for myself, I am pleased and honored to run for President one more year, however 2017 will most likely be my final year and I will look to pass on the reigns to someone else in 2018.
