We will have online voting via MotorsportReg on Saturday November 29th for 1 week until the Christmas party on December 6th. We will also be accepting votes at the party, most likely on a computer set up on site. 2015 elected staff will be announced at the party.

The ballots are looking a little thin, so this is a perfect time to step up and help out the club. Being a staff member can be very rewarding and you get to shape the future of the club. Volunteer yourself or nominate someone today!

If any past staff/officers would like to share their experiences to give newcomers an idea of what it's like and what is involved for a given position, this would be a great time to do so.

I appreciate the nomination for RallyX VP. However, you may have noticed that trying to rallyx an antique VW takes a lot of time (3 months after throwing the rod through the block, the 'Byers Special motor' is finally in the Bug, but it is not running yet). I barely have time to rallyx now and I have a large outside time commitment for the next two years. Come 2017 I hope things loosen up. Until then I must decline a large position like RallyX VP. I would be more than happy to help on individual events when I can arrange time.

Hold on, I heard we need multiple registrars to help bill out...you are dropping out bill? I signed up as your back up. Like you, I may not be able to be at every event.

Tristan McBride will now be nominated for Registrar of THSCC and he is willing to do it full-time!

There has been a change made regarding the HPDE VP position. The track program in fact has many important staff positions that are not on the ballot, so it does not make sense to single out the VP position. After the club election, the HPDE staff members will be selected under the direction of the track staff, most notably Stephen Westerfield who has been heading up the program for several years. This decision may result in a change in the club by-laws as well.

I've been working on getting the ballot online. It is ready, but don't have all the recent memberships verified yet. This will take a little more time so it may be tomorrow before it's ready. I figure it's better to delay than have folks frustrated that their legit membership aren't showing up.

Thanks Zach. As we have been talking off line, I agree w/ this position in regard to ballot and removing the VP option for the HPDE portion of the voting.

I will say that I am quite disappointed that we only have one candidate for Rallycross VP. Due to the number of candidates being less than the number of required people to fill the positions (2), we are still accepting folks to put their name in the hat for this position. Email me or post here if you would like to add your name. The future of the Rallycross program will largely depend on those in charge of running it for next year, so please step up and help out the club if you want to see the program succeed.

I'd like to thank everyone for voting me in as president this year, it is quite humbling and I am honored to be leading the club into its 51st year.
