Might as well name it HPDE VP, as there has been a time trial for a while. - AB

Ok, I checked but I'm ineligible for office next season.. New job, bike stuff, and family will undoubtedly own me but will still make most of the events hopefully.

I changed this to a global post so it shows up at the top of every forum. Someone please remind me to undo that after the ballots are counted.

When does voting open?
It would be a shame for anyone to vote before all the nominations are in (or withdrawals posted).

We will work off this list as I add or take away names until 12/6/14. It is hard, I myself had to scale back down to secretary again, because I am unsure how may events I can attend in 2015. This year was tough... money and time wise, so I could only make 4 events. Atleast I can make every meeting.

More nominations for registrar will be appreciated.
In all seriousness, I am torn about keeping my name in the pot. This was an exceedingly busy year for me, and I did the bare minimum that the registrar position requires. My natural inclination is that if I cant do the job well, then I shouldn't do it at all, however, given that there are no other options, I suppose something is better than nothing.

Really, its the requirement that I attend every event that is difficult. I need a little more flexibility in that regard, particularly if the schedule is something that is going to be in flux well into the year. (That's not a knock Brice, I know the schedule was a bear.)

Perhaps someone would be willing to share duties with me?

I think that's a valid point. I don't think we could afford to support yet another compensated position, so we would have to figure out the details...

Money is not the only way. Giving officers (including Novice Coordinator, IT, tech, registrar) more seat time in exchange for their season-long commitment helps save the club money, possibly increases the pool of interested parties for positions and makes them better drivers. Win-win.

Wasn't Ray Mets in the list for Rallyx VP? (member? not member?)

(I don't have the time for it. 2 days a month to setup and run an event, yes -- mostly. But the logistics behind getting to those two days... not so much. That said, I'll continue to drive the bus, help setup, and run timing for every event I can make. That was all but one scheduled event this year - and that conflict was replaced by the VIR rallyx; 'tho as much as I like rallyx, I'm not giving up any track time. :-) )
