THE NEW WEBSITE was mentioned last night at the meeting, and I was thinking about all of the new fancy Web 2.1 things we can do. I know that we have/had the Tire Rack link for some cash back from people buying tires, but I would think the club could make some extra money by providing an Amazon affiliation link.

At one point amazon stopped allowing affiliate links for NC based entities. I don't know if that has changed.

Is THSCC a 501/c or "charitable" organization?

I currently use Amazon Smile for all my Amazon purchases, it's linked to my son's Boy Scout council, they get 0.5% of all purchases.


Looking at the list of approved organizations here: http://www.guidestar.org/ , I searched "tarheel" and "THSCC" but didn't see any matches. FWIW, Tarheel Chapter of BMW CCA comes up on the approved list.......
