I went to send an email to the rallyx folks with a year-end summary, and need to include instructions for joining the club with the new registration system. Does anyone have instructions I can send to people who aren't necessarily signed up on motorsportreg?

Also, will we be using motorsportreg.com to schedule events next year?

Thanks...

MSR will be used for all events (autox, rallyx, and track).

The link to join is in the stick thread in this forum and we'll be updating the webpage to forward to MSR when you click the join link.

I'm getting emails from past rallyx participants about the upcoming schedule since there's nothing listed on the calendar at http://thscc.com, and want to understand the process before answering people. Our first race is March 9, so obviously we need to get people signed up ASAP.

1. Will everything be done on MSR, or will events still be listed on the THSCC website calendar?

2. Do people have to sign up to be members of THSCC on MSR to sign up for events?

3. Is the THSCC mailing list still working? I just tried to join following the stick instructions and it wasn't listed. Since non-members can't access this forum and there's a lot of people not on Facebook I collected email addresses last year and sent out race announcements on my own, but it would be better to have an official list. Is this a feature of MSR?

We should iframe or link to http://thscc.motorsportreg.com/ on our calendar page. It looks pretty bad that the place that people go to look for our events has 1 event listed for 2014.

I'd just send folks on the rallyx mailing list to MSR except there's no rallyx events listed. :-( I realize they probably just haven't been added yet, but its getting down to the wire.

I wonder if there is a way to allow nonmembers access to a public forum where the information could be posted? James is this technology even available? Like is there a way they could fill out a form and get an email from an administrator? I know advances in technology may soon advance to make this possible. Can a small little known secret club like this come up with something that might work?

I believe it's called Facebook.

Possibly, but we've managed to keep this little know club secret for 50 years now so please keep it quiet.
