Hmmm...I wonder if Bowie forgot and didn't book it as early as he did in the past?

Not to worry, Bowie is still on the job :) He booked both Dec 1 and Dec 8 in advance, and let us choose the date at last week's meeting.

I have TKD testing on the 1st. So it is good that the party is on the 8th, and the autocross on the 2nd. It would not work on the first.

Time is drawing near for the party, so I wanted to get things rolling in respect to games. I know some of you brought some computer gaming. I can bring a corn hole game, anyone else have one to bring? The dueling games for last year was great.

We’ll need a few folks there early to help w/ taking money for food, raffle, 50-50 and membership renewals. We also need to setup the presentation tables and get the projector and screen setup. I guess we need to get the raffle tickets off of the bus. Do I hear a volunteer to get stuff out of the bus we need for the party?

Music…. I can bring my iPod again, but if we have any up an coming DJ’s that want to practice, fine by me. Otherwise I’ll just bring my iPod again. Not sure that Pam is coming w/ me this year, but I'd sure like to see some folks dancing this year other than my shuffling from last year.

Presentations will be the same as last year, no business stuff, only driver and sponsor recognition and wisecracking ;) I know the VP’s of the club are currently putting together a great power point presentation as we speak, right? And of course I’ll take my requisite 30 minutes to explain how good of a president I was….not…

Also want to do a better job of supporting the NC food bank this year. I’ll bring a box for food and a donation jar. Checks are welcome if you want the deduction for this year.

Suggestions and anything I missed?

I volunteered at the last meeting. Consider everything pre-party, money, tickets, and helping with voting taken care of Rodney. PM sent.

I can't make it to the party this year. Gotta go to a wedding reception that evening.

Now that I've got a hatchback, I can bring my cornhole boards. Also, I can make a car themed mix on my iPod to warm things up. Don't be surprised if you hear some cheesetastic throwback tunes, but it'll be fun. :)
